Its so wonderful, u lucky gardener. I am the visitor from England, on the live traffic feed. I have tried to grow from seed the echium wildpretti but with no success. In fact its so hard that the seed company would love to buy back the future seeds if i am successful. I am going to try again, alas, this is England. Plug plants would be great. dee
Dee, If you ever get to grow one to seed be very careful.. they have almost invisible fine hairy spikes which are hard to get out of your fingers. I put mine on an old sheet and left it there to dry for a few days then gave it a few good shakes. they are a member of the cacti family and need to be grown in well drained soil. I have many coming up from seed drop all over the place. I think they are so beautiful
