A beautiful spring day today, my friend Dina's birthday and to celebrate we went to Angaston for lunch. Set in picturesque grounds on Valley Rd. is "The Community Store and Kitchen" The first picture is of Manchurian Pear blossom, absolutely gorgeous !














2nd. is what I think is called may flower, I like white flowers.

Sorry, forgot to take one of the food! Was too hungry and had half eaten it by the time I remembered.

Dina had a caesar salad and I had an atlantic salmon with sun dried tomato crust (not a whole one of course) The only critique I have is that there was NO greenery on the plate except for a piece of inedible rosemary, nor were there any side salad dishes that could be ordered. Not that I could have eaten it, tha salmon was huge ! on a bed of mash potato with a hollandaise sauce. We only had coffee to drink, I was driving.
