Oh !! What beauty...

Close up shot of the flowers of my beautiful weeping cherry tree
Its such a pity
that as soon as it flowers the wind picks up and blows the petals off. I wish someone could breed flowering trees and shrubs that flower, for longer than one week. I have made a Blog about this tree last year, I know, but I just cant help myself. At least it waited for me to return home from my trip to Canberra.

What a stunning tree...well worth waiting for it to flower. We had a cherry tree in front of our bedroom window many years ago in England. Shame they don't grow well up here in Queensland.....I love them.

Just beautiful.

The blossum is still clinging on here, despite the strong winds.

Hope your blossum flowers are as determined,

Yes Linda and Mickle, I love this tree, we had a "snow storm" of white petals yesterday caused by the strong wind.

Hello Olive
I found your blog thru Mickle - what a beautiful weeping cherry. No blossom left on my flowering plums - winds here in Melbourne took care of that lol
Take care
Cathy
