HOORAY its raining !! It almost always rains on Anzac Day. As if the sky is crying for all the people that made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live freely in this wonderful, beautiful country of ours. I couldn't go outside, so here is a picture from just inside the door.
While I was in the sun room, I thought I'd share a picture of this lovely zygo-cactus. 2years ago it was a little cutting given to me by a dear friend.
And just to show how glad I am to see the rain, here is another shot!!

Beautiful photos. Don't all the plants perk up amamzingly even after a rain shower, and everything outside has a pleasant, fresh scent.
Fine here this morning for the ANZAC dawn services. Confess I just listened to one on the radio while still in bed.
Enjoy the rain, Michelle xxx
Yes Michelle, with the dust washed off the leaves the plants look a different shade of green. Did you notice how I didn't include the ground level in the outside shots? (too many weeds)
I watched the march this morning on TV. Amazingly getting bigger and longer each year.
LEST WE FORGET
I think there is little chance people in Aus and NZ will forget. The turn outs here are getting bigger and bigger each year with many young people and children attending, especially the dawn services. Many are proudly wearing their grand/great/great grand family member's medals.
And ex service people from events right up to these days attend too.
its pouring with rain here. Pleased to see yours is forecast to continue on Monday.
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
